HugeDomains Redesign

Building a mobile friendly shopping experience

I lead the full redesign of the HugeDomains UI, focusing on creating a seamless and intuitive mobile experience. The updated design focused on optimizing navigation, simplifying the checkout process, and improving overall usability for mobile users.

Huge Domains Home Page

We redesigned our Buying Guide, and I rewrote most of the content so it had a friendlier tone of voice.

Buying Guide

The Buying Guide helps users make decisions and cuts down on customer service calls.

Buying Guide Article

I redesigned our About Us section and added a few new pages.

About Us

We conducted numerous A/B tests on our product page, experimenting with various content blocks, layouts, and messaging until the data confirmed that this version was the most effective.

Product Page

Users can either Buy Now or finance the domain with a payment plan. This page lets them customize their monthly payments. Before launching it to 100% of our traffic, we tested three different versions to find the best approach.

Payment Plan

The cart is simple and straightforward making the checkout process easy.

We experimented with multiple variations of the checkout page, including stepped processes and different form layouts. The one-page checkout proved to be the clear winner.

Checkout

HugeDomains was designed to accommodate four viewports.

The My Account dashboard makes it easy for users to manage their Payment Plans.

Outcome

After implementing these changes, we observed a significant improvement in our conversion rates, which increased by 31.25%. This made a substantial impact to the company’s bottom line.
